| SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Additional cost per submission is $5 each. GALLERY 446/ATELIER 446 announces a call to artists for a Juried Art Exhibition online that will go on through September 6, 2015. All applicants will be considered for future pop-up events, art salons, and exhibitions in Palm Springs. Best of Show $100 for each category. Juror: Shaktima Brien, Artist-in-residence at Gallery 446 in Palm Springs, CA. Open to Visionary Paintings and Photography. Artists must be 25+ years of age to submit their work. The deadline to submit work is Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at midnight. Artists may only submit work for sale and artwork will be featured upon submission. All submissions will be seen online; the winners will get their own Award page. About the Juror: Shaktima Brien, artist-in-residence at GALLERY 446/ATELIER 446 in Palm Springs, CA, curated the First Surreal Art Exhibition in Palm Springs at GALLERY 446/ATELIER 446 in 2012. A member of the Palm Springs Art Museum Artist Council and the Contemporary Art Council, her paintings were exhibited four times at that museum, as well as featured at the International Museum of Women. Other major exhibitions include UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History; The Spiritual in Art cur ated by Judy Freeman, Associate Curator of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Shirley MacLaine and Whoopi Goldberg Art Auction. Requirements: The deadline to submit work is Wednesday, June 16, 2015 at midnight. Artists may only submit work For Sale. The submission fee is $15 for up to 3 images; extras are $5 each. Each piece will be considered individually. The submission fee is non-refundable whether or not the pieces are selected for exhibition. Click here for the Submission Form All entrants grant GALLERY 446/ATELIER 446 the right to use or publish images of their work to promote the art exhibits, future call for entries, or the art galleries. All accepted entries will be placed on this website and other social media sites. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained written permission of any people featured in the entries or their parents/guardians if children under 18 are featured. Artist is fully responsible to obtain all model or property releases. The juried show will open online on July 6. The artwork will be offered for sale till September 6, 2015. The gallery/artist commission is 50%/50% on all sales. The mission of GALLERY 446/ATELIER 446 is to provide opportunities for artists to show their work in a professional setting, increase exposure, and connect with potential buyers and art professionals. GALLERY 446/ATELIER 446 promotes the juried show with media and provides outstanding exposure for the work to be seen by buyers, curators, gallerists, and interior designers.
