| SURREAL VISIONS VIRTUAL EXHIBITION Sitting quietly along Strawberry Creek in my village of Idyllwild, CA, my interaction with nature is more than passive. It is passionate and cognitive. A desire to marry the understanding of what a forest looks like with complex human emotions begins to run through my mind with the flow of the creek. The challenge is to take a familiar scene and transform it into an expressive experience. I mix the sublime with the cruelty; the new life with the deceased.
