| SURREAL VISIONS VIRTUAL EXHIBITION I have lived and worked in Chicago, New York, London and Los Angeles, as an Art Director for clients that include: Playboy, Penthouse, Intellectual Digest, PSA In-flight Magazine, Collector’s Photography, Consumer’s Digest, Palm Springs Life, Morongo Casino, Spotlight 29 Casino, SierraStyle, San Diego Business Woman and the Curtis Freedom Group in Malibu. I have also created projects for The Playboy Jazz Festival, The American Music Awards and Grammy Programs. Upon moving to the Coachella valley I was inspired by what I saw and I was moved to express it. When I am amongst the mountains I see things, that suggest hidden elemental forces and traces of man in another time.I feel our mountains and deserts have revealed to me a hint that suggests the vast and ancient mythology of this unique area. We are basically symmetrical which in turn generates an empathy for symmetry as displayed in everything from architectural and interior design to the simplest tool. Our eyes are wired to detect our likeness again from billboards to nature. In me this instinct has always been extreme and persistent since childhood. Based on my knowledge of art & history I have always sought to find the truth of this world and it’s history based on my own perceptions and observations. Original Works by George Kenton
