Andre GenevoyBiography Born in Troyes, France (a medieval city located 2 hours South-East of Paris), Andre came to the United States and found a new life in San Francisco, CA in 1980 at the age of 30. In 1995 Andre made the move to Palm Springs, CA. Since childhood, Andre was artistically inclined, but family constraints, and constant life demands restricted his artistic dreams from ever coming to fruition. Andre loves all arts but is particularly fond of 3-Dimensional sculptures. He states Living in Paris, France gave him the inspirations that has helped him construct his beautifully colored and constructed sculptures. It was not until recently, the end of 2009, that Andre was left with extra metals in his shop in Palm Springs giving him an opportunity he had been waiting for for most his life- an opportunity to use his creative nature and form his masterpieces. Andre decided to use the surplus of metal scraps to create metal sculptures with a brilliant flair, all different from one another but with very similar materials- metal tubing, sheet metal, and beautiful metal gazing balls.
